1891 Pavilion Update.

Work has been taking place over the winter renovating the original Victorian pavilion building. The first thing that happened was the building got a new roof and the exterior a new coat of paint which brightened the building up.

Once this had been completed we then looked at the internal renovations. The building was taken back to brick with all the old plaster removed. Two internal walls were taken down to create a larger open plan space.

All the internal walls were then dry lined and a cellar area created for barrel storage. New electrics throughout with ceiling spotlights, new sockets, heating and internet capability.

Once we got to this point it was then time to pick a colour scheme for the room. Pale grey and green was the chosen colour and within a few days the room was transformed. New furniture was purchased which goes very well with the chosen scheme.

Over the course of the last weekend we have had the bar fitted in preparation for the brewery coming at the start of next month to fit out the cellar area and install the bar fittings. Once all that work has been done we will be having some plumbing work done, a new floor laid, optics and glass holders installed, TV fitted and a new till. All ready for the official opening towards the end of March or beginning of April in time for the opening game of the new season.
