It’s a very busy upcoming weekend for Rishton Cricket Club, especially for the 1st XI who have a T20 fixture, a Worsley Cup game and a league game to play.
The weekend kicks off with the first T20 game of the season (following last weeks postponed home game against Lowerhouse) for the 1st XI away to Accrington at the iMEP Arena on Friday night.
The first team are then again in action on Saturday in the re-arranged Worsley Cup tie against the East Lancs CC at the Alexandra Meadows, Blackburn.
The 1st XI finish the weekend off on Sunday with a home league fixture against top of the league Greenmount CC.
Sunday also see’s the 2nd XI playing at Greenmount CC in the reverse fixture which could see Rishton leap frog them with a win.
On Saturday the 3rd XI are away to Middleton CC at Towncroft.
And the 4th XI have a home fixture at Blackburn Road against Greenmount’s 3rd XI.
