Over the past two Wednesday’s eight teams of four have been competing against each other to see who has the best quiz knowledge.
Four close fought heats resulted in Pete Sumner’s team facing off in the first semi-final against a team led by Ronnie Sinclair, and the second semi-final so Andrew Proctor’s team taking on a team led by John Catlow.
Pete’s team stormed through to the final winning their semi-final 52 points to 30, while the second semi was much closer with Andrew team coming out 41 to 38 winners.

The final started with Andrew’s team finishing round one with a ten point lead, however by the end of round four both teams where level on twenty-nine points. Round five so neither team scoring and at the end of round six Pete’s team had moved to a two point lead. The final round resulted in Andrew’s team drawing level and both teams finished on forty points apiece.
Pete’s team went on to win the quiz by being successful with a tie-break question.
