On Friday 28th February 16 darts players gathered to see who would be Rishton Cricket Clubs first darts champion.
The final was fought out between Curt “The Menace” Meehan and Scott “Slab Head” Corbett, with “The Menace” running out the winner 2 legs to nil.
There were other prizes on the night with “The Menace” winning the highest check-out prize with 97, Brad “Hawaii 26” Boddie winning a prize for the lowest winning average at 22.16, and finally George “Pinocchio” Ramsbottom winning the best walk-on.
A great night was had by all and a big thanks go out to members Matt Leathert, Luke Eddleston, and Georgina Bolton for their efforts organising the event and the work they did on the night.
